Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Project Manager Level 3 or a Senior Principal Project Manager Level 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located on site in Clearfield, Utah.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts, for large equipment installations.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, production, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
• Identify project milestones, critical paths, and potential risks, and develop contingency plans to address them.
• Facilitate regular meetings and communications to keep all parties informed of project progress, changes and issues.
• Review project-related engineering and architectural drawings and provide input.
• Ensure transitions between project engineering and existing or new architectural structure is seamless.
• Oversee the installation process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards and project timelines.
• Ensure all installation activities are documented, and that as‑built drawings and operating manuals are provided.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost‑effective solutions are implemented throughout the project.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts and present them to senior management as needed.
• Approve invoices, change orders, and other project related financial documents.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and final inspections to ensure the equipment is installed correctly and functions as intended.
• Proactively identify potential project risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate or resolve them.
• Implement corrective actions as necessary to keep project on track.

• A minimum of high school diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Project Management or the following engineering field:
  Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautics, Electrical, Process, Production & Manufacturing; OR Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in mentioned fields; OR Masters degree with 3 years of experience in mentioned field; OR PhD with 1 year of experience in mentioned fields.
• 3 years of experience in Project Management methodologies and tools, including Gantt charts, project management software systems and risk management.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Clearance.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).

• A minimum of high school diploma or GED and 11 years of experience in Project Management or the following engineering field:
  Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautics, Electrical, Process, Production & Manufacturing; OR Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in mentioned fields; OR Masters degree with 6 years of experience in mentioned fields; OR PhD with 4 years of experience in mentioned fields.
• 3 years of experience in Project Management methodologies and tools, including Gantt charts, project management software systems and risk management.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Clearance.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
