Northrop Grumman is seeking either a Facilities Engineer Level 2 (Nights) or a Principal Facilities Engineer Level 3 (Nights) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located On Site in Clearfield, UT
. This position will support the Night shift Weekdays 9/80 schedule (10PM – 7AM).
- Will schedule contractors and provide SOW.
- Will take ownership of equipment – writing PM plans and responsible for critical spare parts.
- Annual E-FMEA on assigned equipment.
- Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill as the position is cross functional and engages other team members.
- Responsible for communication for machine downtime.
- Support operations IPT.

- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 2 years of Engineering experience in the following engineering fields:
Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Electronics, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control or a Master’s degree in STEM. - Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
- Ability to support the Night shift Weekdays 9/80 schedule (10PM – 7AM).

- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 5 years of Engineering experience in the following engineering fields:
Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Electronics, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control or Master’s degree in STEM with 3 years of experience in mentioned fields or PhD in STEM with 0 year of experience in mentioned fields. - Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
- Ability to support the Night shift Weekdays 9/80 schedule (10PM – 7AM).
- Experience supporting high‑rate manufacturing facilities from a maintenance function.
- Experience with industrial automation equipment (Robots, conveyors, machining centers, etc).
- Troubleshooting electrical controls and 24‑volt systems.
- Knowledge of Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Kuka, Fanuc.
- Experience with VFDs as well as servo‑controlled systems.
- Interpret building and utility drawings and make the revisions as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources.
- Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project).
