Position Summary

K , Inc. is seeking a highly capable and organized Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Clearfield, UT.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills while collaborating with senior leadership, government agencies, and the K  team.

* Provide technical solutions to complex engineering problems.

* Ensure designs comply with industry standards and specifications.

* Document engineering processes and workflows.

Qualifications

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

* Minimum 2 years of engineering experience, 5 preferred.

* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent written and verbal communications.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desired:

* Proficient understanding and working knowledge of Solid Works, and simulation tools such as ANSYS.

* Proficient understanding and working knowledge of material selection, manufacturing techniques, and creating and interpreting engineering drawings and data.

* Experience and knowledge of reliability, maintainability, and supportability challenges due to aging and obsolete components.

* Knowledge and experience with root cause analysis.
