Position OverviewBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Associate/Experienced (P2 or P3) Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The position is 100% onsite.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Responsibilities- Analyzes customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.
- Develops high‑level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.
- Validates designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis.
- Identifies, tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Supports Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services of limited scope.
- Provides engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
- Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
- Works under general direction.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent.
- Associate Level 2: typically 2 or more years related work experience.
- Experienced Level 3: typically 5 or more years related work experience.
- Previous Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) experience.
- Previous Global Positioning System (GPS) data receiver/processor design experience.
- Previous data encryption algorithm design experience.
- Previous Radio Frequency (RF) system design experience.
- Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (design, test, software, technology, avionics).
- Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non‑engineering processes (Operations, Logistics, Business).
- Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience and/or certifications.
- Current active clearance preferred.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start required). Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Shift: 1st shift.
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
