Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Associate/Experienced (P2 or P3) Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer at Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah.

• Analyzes customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.
• Develops high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.
• Validates designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis.
• Identifies, tracks, and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Supports Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services of limited scope.
• Provides engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
• Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
• Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). An interim and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• Associate Level 2:
  Typically, 2 or more years’ related work experience.
• Experienced Level 3:
  Typically, 5 or more years’ related work experience.

Pay ranges:
Associate Level 2: $91,800 – $124,200;
Experienced Level 3: $112,200 – $151,800.

• Previous Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) experience.
• Previous Global Positioning System (GPS) data receiver/processor design experience.
• Previous data encryption algorithm design experience.
• Previous Radio Frequency (RF) system design experience.
• Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics).
• Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience and/or certifications.
• Current active clearance is preferred.
