Job Description

Seeking Data Scientist that performs tasks associated with Big Data Platform management, utilizes skills in programming languages, develops prototype algorithms, and supports data visualization and analytics. The Data Scientist Level 2 shall possess the following capabilities: experience in designing/implementing machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, mathematical foundations, artificial intelligence, workflow and reproducibility, data management and curation, data modeling and assessment, and/or software engineering, working to support one or more domain areas.

Experience in more than five areas is strongly preferred.

This opportunity supports a team of Data Scientists, Cryptologic Computer Scientists, Cryptanalytic Computer Scientists, Cryptologic Cyber Planners, Intrusion Analysts, Protocol Analysts, Signals Analysts and Reverse Engineers, who work to improve, protect, and defend our nation's security.

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years’ relevant experience OR Associate’s degree plus 5 years’ experience, with in-depth experience clearly related to the position.
• Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research or Computer Science. A degree in a related field, the physical or hard sciences, or other science disciplines with a substantial computational component may be considered if it includes a concentration of coursework in advanced mathematics and/or computer science.
• Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
