Full‑Time Supervisory Acquisition Program Manager (NH‑1101‑04)
Job OverviewThis role supports an Air Force‑wide service contract at the Air Force Test Center (AFTC) in the Specialized Management (SM) Directorate at Hill AFB, UT. The Program Manager will lead and manage program requirements, schedule, and financial status while coordinating with stakeholders and contractors.
Salary and LocationTypical 2026 salary range: $125,776 – $192,330 per year (includes locality). Installation – wide (Hill AFB)
Desired Skills- Lead and participate in classified competitive negotiated source selections for high‑dollar programs.
- Ensure program elements stay on schedule, on budget, and demonstrate growth and success.
- Experience as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and in contract management.
- Experience managing an Enterprise Services Contract.
- Strong background in program management reviews, funding reviews, and document and process information control.
- Develop, implement, and control contractual, financial, and technical aspects of projects/programs through acquisition phases.
- Serve as a technical authority, overseeing assigned projects/programs and their execution status.
- Collaborate with the contracting officer to approve terms, conditions, budgets, and scope changes.
- Assess progress in cost estimates, schedules, and performance requirements.
- Establish management controls such as milestones, expenditure rates, indicators, and reviews to detect emerging problems early.
- Lead integrated product teams and working groups across functional disciplines to recommend acquisition streamlining proposals.
- Represent the organization at executive levels and to contractors/industry representatives, delivering presentations on status, accomplishments, challenges, and support requirements.
- Depending on the appointment type, a 1‑year probationary period or 2‑year trial period will be required.
- Continuance of employment requires certification, in writing, that your role advances the public interest.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Position requires achieving Practitioner level in the Acquisition Professional Development Program in Program Management within 4 years of appointment.
- Handle and safeguard sensitive or classified information per regulations and obtain the appropriate clearance.
- Position is a drug‑testing position.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable software systems supporting program management activities.
- File an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and annually thereafter, per the Ethics in Government Act, 1978.
