Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector seeks a Senior Cost and Schedule Manager 3 for the Air Dominance Division located on‑site in Clearfield, UT. The role leads a team of cost and schedule management professionals within the Aerostructures Business Area.
Overall responsibilities include financial planning & reporting management, cost and schedule performance management, earned value management, risk and opportunity management, and strategic and indirect program management.
- Manage staffing needs, including hiring, training, development, assigning work scope, and providing daily direction.
- Collaborate across functional teams to ensure program priorities are met.
- Interface with internal and external customers: sector/division/program leaders (e.g., VPs/Directors), government customers (e.g., USAF), and auditing agencies (e.g., DCMA, Deloitte).
- Oversee development, implementation, and management of program budgets.
- Maintain compliance with internal and external policies and procedures (e.g., EVM, FAR, SOX).
- Assist in financial planning, reporting, and analysis, including profitability assessments, forecasting, and cash management.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 9years of Business Management experience or Master’s degree with 7years.
- Prior managerial experience required.
- Aerospace industry experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) guidelines.
- Working knowledge of EVM systems, including Cobra or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government clearance.
- 10+ years of Business Management experience, and an MBA or related master’s degree.
- Familiarity with cost and schedule management processes and tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to leadership.
- Experience interfacing with government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, and accounting agencies such as Deloitte.
- Experience utilizing SAP S/4, Hyperion, Cobra, and wInsight.
- Active U.S. government Secret or Top Secret clearance.
Primary salary range: $ – $. Salary may be adjusted based on scope, responsibilities, and experience.
