Manufacturing Engineering Data Analyst

Lifetime Products Inc., is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Data Analyst to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineering Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting manufacturing data to support process improvement, material flow, production efficiency, quality, and cost reduction initiatives. Must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and work well with all team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Collect, validate, analyze, and report manufacturing data related to production output, labor utilization, scrap, downtime, throughput, material flow, quality, and cost performance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators that provide visibility to manufacturing engineering and operations performance.
  • Analyze trends, identify root causes, and recommend data-driven improvements to production processes, layouts, work methods, and material handling systems.
  • Support Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cost reduction projects by providing accurate data analysis, time studies, capacity analysis, and process performance reporting.
  • Partner with manufacturing engineers and production teams to evaluate new product lines, process changes, equipment performance, and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Create standard data collection methods, improve data accuracy, and document reporting processes to support consistent decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Technology, or a related field is required; equivalent manufacturing analytics experience may be considered.
  • Ability to work with mathematical and analytical concepts such as statistical analysis, time studies, capacity analysis, cost analysis, forecasting, and manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Ability to observe current manufacturing processes, understand inefficiencies, analyze supporting data, and help develop and implement improvements.
  • Proficient computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience working with manufacturing systems, ERP/MRP systems, MES data, databases, or SQL is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate data insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences and work in a team environment.
