Salary: Negotiable and based on experience

What Our Veterinary Technicians & Assistants Do
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients
- Safely handle and restrain patients while prioritizing their comfort and well-being
- Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and relevant medical information
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection based on experience and skill level
- Collect and process laboratory samples and assist with in-house diagnostic testing
- Obtain diagnostic radiographs and maintain imaging standards
- Support surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
- Monitor patient vital signs and communicate changes promptly to the veterinarian
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts
- Educate clients with compassion and clarity regarding medications, treatments, preventive care, and discharge instructions
- Keep treatment and exam areas clean, stocked, organized, and ready for patient care
- Anticipate the needs of veterinarians and teammates to promote efficiency and exceptional patient care
What You’ll Bring
- Previous Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant experience
- Veterinary Technician licensure or credentialing is welcomed but not required
- Strong animal-handling and patient-care skills
- Confidence assisting with examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Experience with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory procedures, and diagnostic imaging appropriate to your skill level
- Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery
- Strong communication and client-education skills
- Compassion and empathy for patients, clients, coworkers, and yourself
