Software Engineer

You will be the Software Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment team at Hill AFB, Utah. Our team is responsible for providing support for Modular Mission Computer (MMC) Operational Flight Program (OFP) development in the Avionics Integration Support Facility (AISF).

• Code development in C++, C, Ada, and Assembly.
• Debugging using Green Hills Multi/Ada Multi tools.
• Target environments will be embedded MIPS and Power PC based flyable hardware as well as a simulated Solaris or Linux environment for desktop testing.
• Maintain code and documentation within established configuration management systems: GIT and Dimensions.
• Participate in peer reviews of documentation and code.
• Possibility of short‑term travel to Ft Worth, Texas for Agile software development methodology training.
• Must be a US Citizen; must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile.
• Object‑Oriented Design (OOD) software development familiarization.

• Software configuration tool knowledge.
• Software Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tool experience.
• Software code experience with Ada.
• Experience with developing F‑16 or other USAF fighter aircraft avionics software.
• Software development and debugging using Green Hills IDE tools.
• Kennedy‑Carter UML software modeling experience.
• GIT software development configuration experience.
• Rhapsody UML modeling experience.
• Software Requirements traceability database tool experience.
• Dimensions configuration management tool experience.

Secret clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance.

Hill AFB, Utah (Fortitude). Onsite full‑time; no telecommuting.

9x80 (every other Friday off).

Salary ranges from $76,500 to $134,895 in most states, and $88,000 to $152,490 in core metro markets, adjusted for location and responsibilities.
