MPC Software Test Engineer / Quality Assurance

The Mission Planning Central team is looking for an experienced software tester or quality assurance engineer to join a small close-knit team in maintaining and enhancing a Microsoft SharePoint content management system in support of an ongoing Air Force sustainment contract. The successful candidate needs to be a self-starter with a firm grasp on object-oriented programming, Agile programming concepts, SQL fundamentals and web design with experience in software test methods and reporting.
Responsibilities- Plan, execute and report results of software product testing
- Support overall software development efforts in a team environment
- Write and maintain software test procedures based on customer requirements
- Generate reports
- Provide timely feedback during software product development cycles
- Assist management with recommendations for product quality improvements
- Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, web design or other software development and testing program. Four years relevant experience may be substituted for education requirement.
- Background in OOP and secure code development
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance within 45 days of hire.
- CompTIA Security+
- Experience with Microsoft Share Point
