** Equipment Operator/Laborer
** to work out of our site in
** Clearlake, CA**!
** Schedule
* * varies,maintaining a
** 40 hour work week
** with
** Thursdays and Sundays off**.
** Mondays will be onsite in Lakeport, CA.
**** Starting pay is $20 per hour**. The pay range for this job category is $20-$24 per hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ability to efficiently operate screeners, loaders, excavator and other equipment as needed.
* Assists in the scale house, greeting customers and data entry in the computer system.
* Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.
* Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
* Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
* Sorting trash from green waste loads.
* General laborer duties as assigned.
* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
* Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
* Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.

MINIMUM

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
* Basic knowledge of computer skills is required.
* Ability to operate heavy equipment is required.
* Knowledge of light and heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
* Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance including tire pressure, checking oil and water levels.
* Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
