Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery settings
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for mothers and newborns
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and newborn care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain competency in emergency response and crash cart protocols

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 1 year Labor & Delivery experience required
• Nursery experience (any level) and postpartum experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS (AHA) certification (required prior to patient care; recertification every 2 years)
• NRP certification (required within 6 months of employment; recertified every 2 years)
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification (required within 6 months; recertified every 2 years)
• ACLS preferred (required within 6 months for applicable units; recertified every 2 years)
• STABLE preferred
• Hospital conscious sedation certification (within 6 months if applicable)

• Familiarity with crash cart procedures (for BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certified personnel)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple patient populations within Women’s Services
