  36 hours/week (3x12s)
• Weekend Requirement:
  Every other weekend

Facility offers a supportive, team‑oriented setting.

• 4-bed unit (2 LDRs + 2 postpartum rooms)
• Safe staffing ratios: 2:1 (days & nights)
• 24/7 hospitalist coverage
• OB, Pediatrician & Anesthesia on‑call
• Tele‑pharmacy support (after hours)
• Transitioning from Cerner → Epic (2026)

As an RN in the Women’s Care Unit, you will:

• Provide care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn (up to 28 days)
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor fetal status and respond to emergent situations
• Educate patients and families with compassion and clarity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes

• Active California RN License
• 3–4 years of Labor & Delivery experience (required)
• Strong labor + postpartum experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• BLS (required)
• NRP (required)
• ACLS (preferred)
• STABLE (preferred)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required within 6 months if not current)

• Frequent patient handling (lifting, transferring up to 50 lbs)
• High‑alert clinical setting with exposure to blood/body fluids
• Use of equipment including fetal monitoring (Fetal Link), Pyxis, and EMR systems

• Tight‑knit unit with strong teamwork
• No floating or call requirements
• Meaningful patient relationships in a small‑unit setting
• Opportunity to work across the full spectrum of maternal care
