Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Clearlake, California. Start July 27, 2026 for a 9‑week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,393–$2,502 per week. Guaranteed hours:
0. Shift: 3x12‑hour nights (36 hours per week). Setting: hospital. This is a travel‑temporary assignment.

Hospital (Labor & Delivery/Women’s Care Unit environment)
- Provide direct patient care for women from childbearing through geriatric years and infants up to 28 days of life; conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses; coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and IV fluids according to approved policies; manage narcotics and ensure accurate medication administration and documentation; accurately charge for patients and unit supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians; provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum.
- Demonstrate clinical leadership by directing and delegating tasks to other health care team members under the supervision of an RN; participate in handoffs and transfers with clear, concise reporting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment; document assessments, plans, interventions and outcomes in the clinical record; adapt care plans based on patient status and age‑specific needs.
- Adhere to unit policies and procedures; respond promptly to emergencies and provide age‑appropriate, compassionate care across the patient population served.
- Active Registered Nurse license for California
- Ability to provide care across age groups (infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) per unit scope
- Eligibility to work night shifts and 12‑hour shift scheduling
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with physicians and other disciplines
- Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, documentation and prioritization in a high‑acuity setting
- Commitment to following unit policies and maintaining credentialing and clinical competency
