Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13‑week travel nursing assignment in Clearlake, California.

Job . Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• Monitor patients throughout labor, including contractions and breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to assess progression and lack of dilation.
• Maintain a clean and dry environment, cleaning bodily fluids as necessary.
• Aid physicians with drapes, gloves, gowns, and delivery instruments.
• Assist with epidural or pain medication administration.
• Assist with episiotomies and mandatory preparations for cesarean deliveries.
• Provide immediate care to newborns after delivery.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods; lift up to 20 pounds routinely, and up to 50 pounds when moving patients.
• Cope with stress and interact positively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Minimum three (3) years of recent acute‑care experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
