Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

$2105.28/week -

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency room patients in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver critical, efficient, and compassionate patient services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patients' conditions upon arrival to determine necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust care plans as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, including trauma and resuscitation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license required.
• Minimum of two years recent ER or ICU nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficient computer skills, specifically with EPIC electronic health record systems.
• Capable of performing physical demands such as lifting and transferring patients.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
