  Perioperative services in a critical access hospital
• On-call:
  Every third weekend

• Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures and to PACU patients across the age spectrum.
• Monitor patient status during perioperative periods, administer medications, and document care in accordance with policy.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team to plan and coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Maintain sterile technique, manage instrument turnover, and support intraoperative safety protocols.
• Assist with patient and family education, pain management, and post-anesthesia recovery needs.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards; participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.

• Active California registered nursing license
• Education:
  
  Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Certifications:
  
  BLS required; ACLS and PALS required
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 3 years of OR/PACU nursing experience
• Ability to work in an OR/PACU environment within a hospital setting and to participate in on-call rotations
• Additional preferences:
  Credentials in area of practice (e.g., CNOR, PANAC, AAOPU) preferred
• Compliance:
  Willingness to meet facility vaccination and health requirements as applicable; E-Verify participation may be needed
