American Traveler is hiring an RN OR Circulator for a Surgical Services position requiring CA RN licensure and 2-3 years of OR experience.
Requirements- Active California RN license required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 2-3 years of OR experience required
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association, recertified every two years
- ACLS certification required within six months of employment, recertified every two years
- CNOR, PANAC, or AAOPU credentials preferred
- No prior adverse license actions permitted
- Works within the Surgical Services Department providing professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum
- Supervises and coordinates care planning with other disciplines
- Day shift schedule, 4x10s from , Monday through Thursday
- On-call responsibilities required
- Frequently uses computers, monitors, glucometers, IV/PCA/epidural pumps, and blanket warmers
- Provides circulating nursing care in the operating room setting
- Part of the Adventist Health network
- Must comply with HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations
- Category 1 potential exposure to blood and body fluids
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
- Can only be actively submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
