Hours:
40 hours/week Hiring for two positions:
Resource Navigator II & Resource Navigator III Expected Pay of Pay for Resource Navigator II: $26.00
Expected Rate of Pay for Resource Navigator III: $32.00
POSITION OVERVIEW The Resource Navigator plays a critical role in supporting participants of the BUILD workforce development program by providing individualized case management and system navigation services. This position works with participants from program entry through training completion and up to 12 months post-employment to support long-term stability and success. The position identifies barriers to employment, develops and implements individualized service plans, and connects participants to community resources that support economic, physical, and emotional well-being.
This role requires a collaborative, trauma-informed approach and strong relationship-building skills to ensure participants remain engaged, supported, and on track to achieve employment and self-sufficiency goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct participant intake, needs assessments, and develop individualized service plans aligned with program goals.
Provide ongoing case management throughout training, employment, and up to 12 months post-placement, including monitoring progress and updating service plans as needed.
Maintain an active caseload of participants, including current trainees and employed graduates.
Connect participants to community resources (e.g., housing, transportation, healthcare, public benefits, financial stability) and assist with applications and enrollment.
Advocate for participants to ensure access to needed services and identify gaps through case conferencing and program communication.
Support participants in addressing barriers that impact training completion, employment retention, and overall stability.
Provide ongoing follow-up and support to employed participants to promote long-term success.
Coordinate with Career Navigators and program staff to align services and support employment outcomes.
Respond to emerging participant needs, including crisis situations, using a trauma-informed approach.
Plan, coordinate, or facilitate workshops and group sessions focused on life skills and workforce readiness, adapting content as needed.
Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and expand referral networks through outreach.
Collaborate with internal programs and external partners to support participant success.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic record system (Empow
OR or equivalent), including service plans, referrals, and case notes.
Track participant progress, service delivery, and outcomes in alignment with program and grant requirements.
Prepare case summaries and updates for reporting and program evaluation.
Participate in case conferencing, team meetings, and maintain regular communication with supervisors and leadership regarding participant progress.
Report safety, health, and well-being concerns in accordance with agency protocols.
Attend required trainings, workshops, and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Training and
Experience:
Level IHigh school diploma or equivalent/comparable certificate is required.
At least one year’s experience providing direct services.
Case management experience is preferred.
