Dimmitt Automotive Group is currently seeking an Accounts Payable professional who willpostall purchases on the CDK computer system and disburseall funds for the purchase of goods and supplies.
Responsibilities- Reconciles select accounts and schedules monthly, prior to month end
- Posts manual journal entries and any other posting as required
- Maintains payables control: posts invoices, prepares checks, and reconciles statements
- Maintains control of posted documents
- Completes end-of-month accounting reports
- Ensures that vendor name and address files are updated on an ongoing basis
- Properlys represent the dealership to its customers and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
- Assists in completion of annual review/audit
- Tracks various fuel card purchases
- Oversees corporate American Express credit card program and employee purchases
- Assists in other projects as requested by management
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with relevant Accounts Payable responsibility
- Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- ADP/CDK dealership software experience preferred
- Accounts Payable experience in an automotive dealership highly preferred, but not required
- Excellent work history
