Job Description
Dimmitt Automotive Group is currently seeking an Accounts Payable professional who will post all purchases on the CDK computer system and disburse all funds for the purchase of goods and supplies.
Responsibilities- Reconciles select accounts and schedules monthly, prior to month end
- Posts manual journal entries and any other posting as required
- Maintains payables control: posts invoices, prepares checks, and reconciles statements
- Maintains control of posted documents
- Completes end-of-month accounting reports
- Ensures that vendor name and address files are updated on an ongoing basis
- Properly represent the dealership to its customers and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
- Assists in completion of annual review/audit
- Tracks various fuel card purchases
- Oversees corporate American Express credit card program and employee purchases
- Assists in other projects as requested by management
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with relevant Accounts Payable responsibility
- Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- ADP/CDK dealership software experience preferred
- Accounts Payable experience in an automotive dealership highly preferred, but not required
- Excellent work history
Group Benefits eligibility for full-time associates is 1st of month after 60 days. The plan includes:
