Our client, a nationally recognized leader in their industry, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team.
$80k - $90k Depending on experience
Position OverviewThe Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Accounting team by preparing financial statements, managing journal entries, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy across various consolidated entities. This Senior Accountant position offers excellent professional growth opportunities, working closely with senior leadership, including a highly experienced Controller and CFO from high-growth, private equity-backed companies. This is ideal for an Accountant looking to transition out of public accounting into the private sector with real impact and visibility.
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a high-performing team.
- Manage billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition to ensure compliance with contracts, company policies, and GAAP standards.
- Perform month-end close processes, including reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts, journal entries, and credit card/expense submissions.
- Maintain accurate and efficient accounting records, supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
- Analyze financial performance, providing insights to drive cost reduction and revenue growth.
- Assist the Controller with accounting projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervises a team of 1 - 2 Accountants/staff members as needed.
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with cash flow forecasting and financial dashboards.
- CPA license or CPA eligibility.
- Private equity experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
