Financial Accounting Controls Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and support heavier audit activities, including internal and external audits
• Ensure full compliance with US GAAP accounting standards
• Perform detailed review of balance sheets and account reconciliations
• Conduct heavy review of journal entries, financial schedules, and supporting documentation
• Own and support SOX compliance, including control execution, documentation, and testing
• Prepare, review, and maintain work papers and audit documentation
• Oversee document processing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Audit, and Operations teams to resolve issues
• Proactively identify risks, gaps, and process improvement opportunities
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities as needed

• Manager-level accounting experience
• Strong background in Audit (public accounting and/or internal audit experience preferred)
• Deep working knowledge of US GAAP
• Hands‑on experience with SOX controls and compliance
• Proven experience reviewing balance sheets and reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Experience working in any major ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Workday, etc.)
• Ability to work independently with minimal ramp‑up
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
