Salary: $55,000 - $70,000
About the Company:
- Our client is a dynamic, leading employer in the recreation organization seeking a Staff Accountant to add to their growing team.

- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Apply GAAP-compliant revenue recognition standards in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Review and classify credit card transactions to ensure proper coding and timely entry into the general ledger.
- Process and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of schedules and documentation for external audits and internal reviews.
- Analyze financial data to support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
- Support the Controller with ad hoc projects and special assignments as needed.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Excel proficiency is required
