Senior Accountant – Technical Accounting & Policy

Location: Hybrid (3–4 days in office) in Clearwater, FL

Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 base + bonus

A rapidly growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant – Technical Accounting & Policy to support technical accounting, accounting policy, and acquisition-related initiatives. This is a newly created role offering exposure to complex accounting matters, M&A activity, and high-impact finance projects in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

• Research technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memoranda under U.S. GAAP
• Support accounting policy development and implementation of new accounting standards
• Assist with acquisition accounting, including purchase accounting and integration activities
• Partner with business leaders on accounting and reporting matters
• Support internal controls, process improvements, and finance transformation initiatives
• Serve as a liaison with external auditors
• Participate in special projects and strategic finance initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Big 4 or public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting research
• Experience with ASC 805, ASC 350, ASC 606, ASC 718, and/or ASC 842 preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
