Senior Accountant; CPA Firm

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key contributor within a fast-paced, expanding organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and partnering with leadership to improve financial operations.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Analyze financial results and provide insights to management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and support tax preparation.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support ERP system enhancements and process automation initiatives.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on accounting best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and executive leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (Net Suite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar preferred).
• CPA designation or CPA candidate is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
