Job Description & How to Apply Below

Fahrenheit Advisors is leading the search for a new position with our PE client in Clearwater FL. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-growth roll-up strategy and help build the accounting and finance function.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for owning core accounting operations and ensuring accurate, timely, and controlled financial reporting across the business. This role oversees Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), inventory management, and month-end close processes, and provides financial analysis and operational insights to support leadership decision-making.

This role will be part of a newly established corporate function supporting a group of companies recently acquired through a private equity-led roll-up strategy. While each company continues to operate under founder leadership on a day-to-day basis, the organization is actively transitioning to a standardized, scalable operating model.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to design and implement accounting processes, systems, and controls that support the transition from a founder-led environment to a consolidated, multi-entity platform under private equity ownership. This role is best suited for individuals who thrive in rapidly evolving environments and are comfortable building structure where processes may not yet exist.

This position will be onsite at an office in Clearwater, FL at least 3 days a week with some hybrid flexibility. The Senior Accountant will report to a Controller and currently supports 5 operating companies. This position will be ideal for someone with start-up or private-equity experience who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and who can build structure as you go.
