$65k - $80k DOE

The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations for a multi-entity organization. This Staff Accountant role is ideal for someone with strong property accounting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for long-term career growth. The Staff Accountant will work closely with leadership and internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Maintain the general ledger and support financial reporting.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze variances.
• Support fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with audit preparation and external audit requests.
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure accurate financial information.
• Support process improvements and other accounting projects as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the accounting team.

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, and formulas.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Experience in commercial real estate, multifamily, property management, or other property accounting environments.
• ERP system experience.
• Multi-entity accounting experience is preferred.
• Property accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
• Experience supporting audits and improving accounting processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
