Our client is looking for a Staff Accountant with a strong AR background to join their accounting team in Clearwater, FL.
Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and wants to grow with a company in an active growth phase.
What You'll Do:- Manage full-cycle accounts receivable; billing, collections, and cash applications
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on billing questions and overdue accounts
- Prepare AR reporting and supporting documentation
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with journal entries and general accounting support
- Support inventory-related accounting tasks
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting, sales, and operations teams
- 2-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong FULL CYCLE AR background - billing, collections and cash applications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Manufacturing or distribution industry background a plus
- Inventory accounting exposure a plus
- PTO
