Accounts Payable Lead

Our client is looking for a Accounts Payable Lead to serve as the functional lead and subject-matter expert for the AP team. This role owns accurate, timely invoice processing, vendor management, and supplier reconciliations, while also developing AP policies.

• Work arrangement: Hybrid
• Salary: $60,000-$75,000

• 2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience, including automated three-way matching
• 2-4 years using Oracle EBS R12 or an equivalent ERP system
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with EDI, invoice imaging, and IRS Form 1099 processing
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Process invoices and disbursement requests, overseeing two- and three-way matching
• Train, mentor, and guide AP staff on invoice coding and complex transactions
• Manage vendor setup, documentation compliance, and monthly supplier reconciliations
• Support internal/external audits and monitor controls to minimize fraud risk
• Develop and maintain AP policies and standard operating procedures
