Position Title: Part-Time Receptionist

Location: On-Site

Reports To: Private Event Director

Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Position Summary

As the Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for the organization. You will answer incoming phone calls professionally and execute various administrative tasks at the highest quality standards.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
  • Regular part‑time position, including weekends and holidays.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is preferred and expected.
Responsibilities
  • Answering phone calls in a professional manner and routing calls as necessary.
  • Answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls politely and efficiently.
  • Greeting visitors with a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, sorting and distributing mail.
  • Coordinates the pick‑up and delivery of express mail services (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.).
  • Supports the events and membership department; conduct member briefings, update bookings, etc.
  • Handles reservations for events and members.
  • Accurately logs and tracks guests and vendor visits.
  • Assists with member inquiries regarding club events, dining reservations, and general information.
  • Supports other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Performing ad‑hoc administrative duties.
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of Premier Club Holdings.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of client, company and personnel information.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
  • Adheres to company attendance standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience as receptionist or in a related field, a plus.
  • High school diploma, required.
  • Some college, preferred.
  • Previous experience in a country club, hospitality, or high‑end service environment is preferred.
Computer Skills

Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Environmental Factors / Physical Demands

Work is performed in an office environment. The employee is regularly required to maintain active communication with customers and employees, access, input, and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha‑numeric data while listening on the telephone. May be subject to repetitive motion such as typing, data entry, and vision monitoring. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.

At‑Will

Employment (Florida)

Employment is at‑will; either you or FSCC may terminate the relationship at any time with or without cause or notice.

Drug Free Workplace

FSCC maintains a drug‑and alcohol‑free workplace. Candidates who receive a conditional offer must complete a pre‑employment drug screen. Random and post‑incident testing may also be required.

Confidentiality

Employees must maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary and non‑public information obtained during employment. This includes company records, financial data, client and vendor information, business strategies, and any other non‑public information. Such information may not be disclosed except as required in the performance of duties. All company property and materials must be returned upon separation of employment.
