Insurance Certificate Coordinator Summary/Objective

The Certificate Coordinator creates and issues certificates of insurance for agency clients and other necessary parties using agency management software within timeframe established by Single Source Insurance to accomplish superior customer service.

• Answers incoming client requests by email and phone
• Interprets policy documents and accurately transfers information to database
• Compares accuracy of policy documents to management system and certificates
• Confidently communicates by telephone to insureds
• Prioritizes requests of insured according to agency guidelines
• Completes deadlines and meets turnover timeline on all requests

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Sitting for long periods of time is expected.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

No travel is expected for this position except to team events or marketing events two to three times per year in the local area.

Graduation from high school or GED

Specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, filing, computer applications, some college preferred

• One year of increasingly responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
• Previous experience in an administrative role

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
