Patient Care Coordinator – Chiropractic Clinic

  • Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Position Overview

A growing outpatient medical clinic in Clearwater is seeking an energetic Patient Care Coordinator to manage front desk operations and deliver exceptional patient care. This role serves as the primary liaison between patients and the medical team, ensuring seamless check-ins, optimal appointment scheduling, accurate record management, and smooth daily clinic flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Experience & Front Desk: Warmly greet patients, manage incoming phone calls, address inquiries, and maintain a pristine, welcoming waiting area.
  • Scheduling & Intake: Efficiently schedule appointments to optimize provider availability, notify clinical staff upon patient arrival, and streamline patient check-in/check-out.
  • Records & Billing Support: Retrieve, verify, and update electronic patient records, process clinical paperwork, update financial details, and collect patient payments.
  • Clinic Operations: Assist with inventory management, monitor office supplies, handle data entry, and perform administrative support tasks to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1+ year of medical office or healthcare administrative experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and web-based medical software.
  • Excellent communication, task-prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail in high-volume settings.
  • Ability to pass a standard Florida Level 2 healthcare background screening (including fingerprinting).
