About the Role: The Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of automotive vehicles through expert diagnosis, repair, and maintenance. This position requires a thorough understanding of both electrical and mechanical automotive systems to accurately identify issues and implement effective solutions. The Service Technician will work closely with customers and team members to deliver high-quality service that meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations.
By maintaining detailed records and adhering to safety protocols, the technician contributes to the overall efficiency and reputation of the service department. Ultimately, this role is essential in extending vehicle longevity and enhancing customer satisfaction through reliable and timely automotive service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mopar certified technician, level 2 or higher.
- Experience with computerized diagnostic tools and automotive software.
- Previous work experience in a dealership or specialized automotive service center.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive electrical and mechanical systems to identify faults and malfunctions.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid replacements according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Repair or replace defective components including wiring, sensors, engines, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues, recommended repairs, and service timelines.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Skills: The required skills in automotive electrical systems and mechanical diagnosis are applied daily to troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle issues efficiently. Proficiency in automotive service ensures that routine maintenance and repairs are performed to the highest standards, minimizing vehicle downtime. Preferred skills such as advanced certifications and experience with diagnostic software enhance the technician’s ability to handle modern vehicle technologies and improve diagnostic accuracy.
Effective communication skills are essential for explaining technical information clearly to customers and collaborating with team members. Together, these skills enable the Service Technician to deliver reliable, safe, and customer-focused automotive services consistently.

- 20% additional pay rate while working on Chrysler Warranty / Chrysler Extended Warranty (Max Care).

Hours: 7:30 - 5:30 M-F
7:00 - 4:00 Saturdays, every 3rd saturday
