Ferman Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service department. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a passion for customer service and a solid understanding of automotive repair processes. This role is key to ensuring a smooth and professional experience for every customer.
You'll work closely with technicians, customers, and management to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, accurately, and to Ferman's high standards.
Responsibilities- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
- Gather customer and vehicle information accurately and create detailed repair orders
- Clearly communicate customer concerns to service technicians and relay technician findings back to customers
- Provide transparent cost estimates and explain recommended maintenance or repairs
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Review completed repair orders for accuracy and ensure all work has been properly documented
- Handle warranty and insurance documentation as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide an exceptional customer experience
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Writer required (Ford experience a plus)
- Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of repair procedures
- Proven track record of achieving high CSI and customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software (CDK, Reynolds, etc.)
- Positive attitude, integrity, and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
