Position: Inside Account Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Position owns the daily contact with specific, identified accounts. Incumbents work proactively to drive revenues/margins to ensure organizational profitability through developing and executing strategic client specific solutions.
  • Incumbent is seasoned and has the experience to handle complex customer issues with minimal supervision.
  • Leverages TD executives for support.
  • Proactively manages accounts by evaluating product mix and profitability.
  • Identify appropriate opportunity to sell TD full portfolio of products and services.
  • Develops strategic business plans, and effectively presents to TD management.
  • Provide team direction on KPI performance, company directives, vendor initiatives, etc.
  • Viewed by supporting departments management teams as a change agent and subject matter expert.
  • Manages advanced inbound and outbound sales calls in order to quote prices, provide product information and build relationships with customers.
  • Assists associates and reps in resolving complex, important customer problems or issues.
  • Helping resellers get best pricing / deals through alliance with internal TD departments; informing business partners of vendor-related promotions and floor days; forming relationships; providing proactive business solutions.
  • Requires high level of interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Identifies, develops, and implements business opportunities through customer facing activities.
  • Demonstrates detailed account knowledge.
  • Represents TD SYNNEX professionally in daily interface with business partners, customers, and supporting departments.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards.

  • Able to assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take.
  • Able to be diplomatic when handling calls/correspondence for Management.
  • Able to identify needs and opportunities and develop action plans to address.
  • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.
  • Able to prepare/analyze appropriate reports and other business correspondence.
  • Able to serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
  • Able to sort through numerical information and recognize trends and details.
  • Able to think strategically and tactically.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Able to analyze and resolve complex issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
