Overview
Responsible for daily inspection efforts on multiple complex, large, and diverse construction projects, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with project schedules and contract documents.
Responsibilities- Inspect, observe, document, and verify construction work in progress to ensure compliance with schedule, contract documents, and plans.
- Confirm procedures are followed and materials conform to specifications.
- Advise contractor superintendent of necessary actions for plan, specification, and contract conformance.
- Review and resolve quantity disputes with contractor.
- Perform sophisticated mathematical calculations, constructability and biddability reviews, and measurements of completed work.
- Review inspector's daily reports of assigned work activities, labor, equipment, and material quantities.
- Perform on‑site material testing and produce as‑constructed sketches.
- Lead daily assignments, mentor, and train employees.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and at least 9 years of construction‑related experience.
- All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.

- FDOT Intermediate MOT
- IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
- IMSA/FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT)
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors
- PCC Paving Inspection (TC3CN004-15-T1)
- Diamond Grinding and Grooving (TC3MN009-15-T1)
- Curing, Sawing and Joint Sealing (TC3CN032-16-T1)
- Complete the Critical Structures Construction Issues, Self Study Course, and submit the mandatory Certification of Course Completion (for structures projects)
- Nuclear Radiation Safety certification
