The Superintendent at PARK & ELEAZER CONSTRUCTION LLC is responsible for overseeing daily job site operations and coordinating subcontractor tasks to ensure efficient and timely project completion. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of construction supervision, project management, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily operations at the construction site to ensure the project progresses according to schedule.
Coordinate tasks and activities of subcontractors, ensuring seamless integration and communication among all parties involved.
Develop and update project timelines, ensuring all material deliveries arrive on time to maintain the project's schedule.
Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Inspect ongoing and completed work to verify adherence to project specifications and quality expectations.
Interpret complex project blueprints and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
Utilize construction management platforms like Procore for maintaining daily logs and scheduling tasks effectively.
Stand and walk for extended periods while supervising site activities.
Quickly reallocate resources and resolve on-site conflicts to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.
Required Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision or a similar role.
Proven track record of managing construction projects from inception to completion.
Experience in coordinating and overseeing subcontractor tasks.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years in construction supervision.
Experience with General Contracting Companies Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.
Required
Skills and Abilities:
Strong ability to interpret project blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency in utilizing construction management platforms like Procore for daily logs and scheduling.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Capacity to stand and walk for long periods.
Effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and subcontractors.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to conduct routine site inspections.
