Job Summary
The Social Media Content Manager is responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and managing content across a brand’s social media channels to achieve marketing and communication goals. This role shapes the company’s online presence and engages with its audience. As the Social Media Content Manager, you’ll be the voice of our brand on platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Pinterest, and more.
You’ll plan, create, and publish compelling content that not only looks good but converts, collaborating with our creative team, designers, and influencers to bring our brand story to life and grow our online community.
- Content Strategy & Planning:
Develop a social media content calendar aligned with brand goals and campaigns. - Research audience preferences and stay updated on trends and competitors.
- Content Creation:
Write copy, create visuals (or collaborate with designers), and produce video content. - Ensure content aligns with the brand voice and tone.
- Publishing & Scheduling:
Schedule posts using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, or native platforms. - Post consistently across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, Linked In, Tik Tok, etc.).
- Engagement & Community Management:
Respond to comments, messages, and mentions; foster community and encourage user‑generated content. - Analytics & Reporting:
Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.) and prepare reports to optimize content based on data insights. - Collaboration:
Work with marketing, design, and sales teams; coordinate with influencers or external partners. - Monitor trends in fashion, culture, and social media to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, and influencers for campaign rollouts and product launches.
- Other duties assigned.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Tik Tok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
- Eye for visual storytelling and aesthetics, especially in fashion.
- Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, Cap Cut).
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a clear, stylish voice.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced creative team.
- Experience with user‑generated content (UGC) campaigns.
- On‑camera confidence for behind‑the‑scenes or brand ambassador content.
- Photography or video editing skills.
- Knowledge of fashion trends and streetwear culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in social media, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or beauty.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand or move for long periods.
- Full‑time, office‑based role with occasional travel to various sites or facilities.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, especially for planned shoots.
