** What We Need:*
* We're seeking a Traffic Anchor to keep our listeners abreast of traffic and weather in the local area

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide timely,accurate, and useful information to help commuters plan their drives.

+ Deliverup to the minutereports on accidents, delays, and major traffic disruptions.

+ Read traffic updates, commercials, and public service announcements on air.

+ Gather information from multiple intake sources andmonitorlocal, state, and national traffic feeds todeterminewhat'smost relevant.

+ Research, write, and produce traffic and weather copy foron airuse; edit audio using digital editing software.

+ Manage incoming information, verify facts, and ensure all details areaccurateand current;maintain updated content on station websites.

+ Create written, visual, audio, and video content for websites, blogs, and social media platforms.

+ Worka flexible schedule as needed, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

** What You'll Need:*
* + Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

+ Strong knowledge of local geography, major roadways, mass transit systems, and traffic patterns.

+ Clear, pleasant, andwell controlledon airvoice with excellent pronunciation. English & Spanish bilingual is a plus.

+ Skilled at working in afast paced,deadline driven,newsroom styleenvironment.

+ Excellent writing and editing abilities witha strongcommand of grammar.

+ Exceptional attention to detail with consistent follow throughuntil issues are resolved.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in ahigh-volume setting.

+ Familiarity with police scanners is a plus.

+ Previousbroadcast experience preferred.
