Our firm is representing a high-growth maritime e-commerce leader expanding its Clearwater operations. We are seeking a fast-paced E-commerce Operations and Logistics Coordinator who excels in a customer-facing, tech-driven environment. This role is the operational backbone of the office, requiring a professional who can navigate complex order cycles while providing elite service via email and phone.

The ideal candidate is an e-commerce veteran who is technically savvy and highly responsive. You must be capable of managing high-volume customer inquiries and warehouse follow-ups independently, ensuring that structured procedures are followed with total consistency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Order and Shipping Coordination:
    Manage the full lifecycle of e-commerce orders, collaborating with the warehouse to ensure accurate fulfillment.
  • Customer-Facing Resolution:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, resolving complex inquiries via phone and email with a professional and helpful tone.
  • Advanced Data Management:
    Utilize Excel to track order statuses, manage logistics data, and ensure all inventory records are precise.
  • System Management:
    Use specialized helpdesk platforms like Gorgias to document interactions and streamline the customer experience.
  • Logistics and Returns:
    Proactively handle order tracking and shipping updates. Manage the return and exchange process to keep financial records accurate.
  • Technical Execution:
    Navigate multiple internal systems at high speeds to verify data and update order statuses in real time.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • E-commerce Background:
    Proven experience in a professional e-commerce environment is required.
  • Advanced Excel

    Skills:

    Must be highly proficient in Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
    Strong experience in a customer-facing role (email and phone support) with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Fast and comfortable learning multiple software platforms; experience with Gorgias or Zendesk is strongly preferred.
  • Logistics Expertise:
    Direct experience with shipping processes, order handling, and warehouse coordination.
  • Operational Discipline:
    Highly organized and responsive, with the ability to follow structured procedures exactly as trained.
  • Communication:
    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suitable for interacting with local teams and West Coast executives.
