Part-Time Music Teacher for the  School Year

Position Overview:

Guardian Angels Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Music Teacher to inspire students and foster a love of music. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, developmentally appropriate music program that supports our schools mission and enhances students academic and spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver age-appropriate music instruction for students.

* Teach foundational music skills, including rhythm, melody, notation, and musical appreciation.

* Incorporate singing, movement, instruments, and listening activities into lessons.

* Prepare students for school performances, liturgies, and special events as needed.

* Maintain a positive, organized, and respectful classroom environment.

* Collaborate with classroom teachers and administration.

* Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families when appropriate.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (preferred).

* Experience teaching music to children in a school or group setting.

* Strong classroom management and communication skills.

* Ability to support and uphold the values and mission of a Catholic school.

* Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with students.

Requirements:

* Employment is contingent upon successful completion and clearance of Level II fingerprinting and background screening.

* Must meet all diocesan and school employment requirements.
