The MS Math Teacher is a full-time, on-site position based at Plato Academy Schools in FL. This educator is responsible for planning and delivering engaging middle school mathematics lessons aligned with state standards and the school’s curriculum. Daily responsibilities include designing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student learning, providing differentiated instruction, and maintaining accurate records of student progress. The teacher will manage a positive classroom environment, communicate regularly with families and colleagues, and participate in grade-level and school-wide initiatives.

Additional duties may include monitoring student activities, and contributing to professional development and curriculum discussions.

• Strong content knowledge and instructional skills in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
  .
• Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for middle school students.
• Status as a Qualified Teacher
  , with appropriate state certification or eligibility to obtain certification in Florida.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a closely related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Ability to use data to inform instruction and support diverse learners, including those needing enrichment or intervention.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills, with a student-centered and inclusive approach.
• Comfort with educational technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Commitment to professional growth and participation in school initiatives, meetings, and training.
