Employment Details
Position: 1 Hours per day: 7.5
Work hours:
8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Full‑time, temporary position:

- Experience teaching and supporting students in an online or virtual learning environment.
- Strong understanding of relationship‑building strategies with at‑risk or disengaged students.
- Ability to foster student accountability, motivation, and executive functioning skills in a flexible learning environment.
- Skilled in communicating effectively with students, parents/guardians, and multidisciplinary support teams through phone, email, video conferencing, and digital platforms.
- Experience using learning management systems (LMS), student information systems, and online instructional tools.
- Ability to monitor student progress data and implement timely academic and behavioral interventions.
- Knowledge of MTSS, student engagement strategies, and trauma‑informed practices in alternative or virtual settings.
- Comfortable conducting synchronous virtual support sessions, small groups, and individualized student conferences.
- Ability to maintain consistent communication and outreach with students and families to support attendance, participation, and course completion.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage large student caseloads independently.
- Experience working with diverse learners, including students with behavioral, academic, social‑emotional, or attendance challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining flexibility in a fast‑paced virtual environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Teams, and educational technology tools.
- Understanding of best practices for online professionalism, digital citizenship, and student privacy requirements.
- Ability to build positive virtual classroom culture and create meaningful connections with students in a nontraditional educational setting.
