Tampa Bay International School, a small, private Spanish immersion PK - 8 school in Clearwater, Florida, seeks substitute teachers to carry out instruction of students when regular classroom teachers are absent. Successful candidates must be patient, creative, enthusiastic and flexible people. They should enjoy working with children of diverse backgrounds and ideally, have experience instructing students in an educational setting. Substitute teaching could lead to permanent positions.

Tampa Bay International School is a bilingual school in which instruction is split evenly between English and Spanish. Instruction is held in English on English days (Mondays & Wednesdays and every other Friday) and in Spanish on Spanish days (Tuesdays & Thursdays and every other Friday.) A substitute teacher does not necessarily have to be bilingual, but speaking both English and Spanish will mean a substitute teacher will be asked to fill in for regular teachers more often.
