Job Description
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for driving advanced manufacturing strategies and initiatives within the ISC Engineering NPI team. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations and optimizing processes to achieve operational excellence. Your expertise in advanced manufacturing and process optimization will contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
You will report directly to our ISC Engineering NPI Manager and work out of our Clearwater location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the company by driving innovation, cost efficiencies, and product quality in our manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, implement cutting‑edge technologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Your ability to make data‑driven decisions, lead a team of engineers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations will be crucial to our success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to drive innovation and operational excellence
- Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product quality
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Identify and implement cutting‑edge technologies to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiencies
- Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 2 years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization
- Proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence in manufacturing operations
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams
