Job DescriptionAs a Hardware Test Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in the development, efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes and test systems, contributing to the advancement of cutting‑edge technology that enhances safety and performance in aerospace. You will collaborate with onsite and off‑site cross‑functional engineering teams, troubleshoot issues, improve test methodologies, present findings on Test System health, and support internal customers to ensure production continuity.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot units to diagnose software, hardware, and test station issues to ensure the functionality and performance of both new and legacy advanced Test Systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement and improve test methodologies.
- Ensure the functionality of advanced Test Systems, including hardware and network components.
- Troubleshoot complex Test Systems and document findings clearly to facilitate future reference and enhancement.
- Present findings on the current health status of the test systems and test processes, providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
- Keep production moving smoothly by supporting internal customers and addressing any interruptions or requirements they may have.
- Work on proposals to obtain new capital equipment by evaluating needs, creating compelling business cases, and justifying investments.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited institution.
- Experience in Test Systems engineering methodologies and tools, including requirements management.
- Experience with hardware repair and troubleshooting.
- Experience in systems engineering or a related field.
- Advanced Engineering degrees such as MS in Electrical Engineering or related areas.
- Knowledge in Test Systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience leading complex system integration projects.
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving capability.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
Note:
Opportunity is available at various experience levels from Engineer II through Senior Engineer level.
Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements.
