Responsibilities
As a Hardware Test Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality and performance of both legacy and new advanced Test Systems to support our fast‑paced, high‑volume commercial line of Aerospace products. You will collaborate with onsite and off‑site cross‑functional engineering teams, troubleshoot issues and improve test methodologies, present findings about test system health status, and aid in production continuity by supporting internal customers.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes and systems, contributing to the advancement of cutting‑edge technology that enhances safety and performance in aerospace.
- Ensure the functionality and proper operation of advanced Test Systems, including both hardware and network components, to meet production demands.
- Troubleshoot complex Test Systems and document findings clearly to facilitate future reference and enhancement.
- Present findings on the current health status of the test systems, providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement and improve test methodologies.
- Keep production moving smoothly by supporting internal customers and addressing any interruptions or requirements they may have.
- Work on proposals to obtain new capital equipment by evaluating needs, creating compelling business cases, and justifying investments.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- Experience in Test Systems engineering methodologies and tools, including requirements management.
- Experience with hardware repair and troubleshooting.
- Experience in systems engineering (or related field).
Opportunity is available at various experience levels from Engineer II through Senior Engineer level.
We Value- Advanced Engineering degrees such as MS in Electrical Engineering or related are of value.
- Knowledge in Test Systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in leading complex system integration projects.

- Attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving capability.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements.
